Staffed Campuses: Our Backbone
Facilitating a united movement between different Christian leaders from different backgrounds and denominations is a huge job! Consider also the time needed to work with Student Leaders from each ministry, attend or facilitate several weekly, united prayer meetings, and building relationships with students and pastors each week.
In order for campuses to truly progress to the advanced stages of a Campusreaching movement requires someone who will dedicate themselves to facilitating it full time. Campuses that have such an advocate progress much faster and further than those who do not.
Our staff members serve as part counselors, part psators, part teachers, part visionaries, part administrators, part expert mediators, and more!
Our staff also travel the nation consulting with ministry/church leaders on other campuses who are pursuing a united Campusreaching movement, but do not yet have a full-time Campus Renewal staff worker.
Meet our Campus Directors
The Ambassador Network: Our Nerve System
Our Ambassadors are key students, campus ministers, and others across the nation who feel a unique calling to build ongoing, purposeful, and biblical unity in the Body of Christ.
There is usually one CRM Ambassador per campus, although many of our ambassadors have a team of students who work with them. Often students who have this unique calling have had no where to turn for guidance and mentorship because those around them do not understand the specifics of leading a Campusreaching movement.
Our Ambassadors sign a covenant agreeing to hold a weekly prayer group for all the campus ministry leaders/pastors on their campus, mobilize the ongoing strategies that come out of these united prayer times, keep in touch regularly with Campus Renewal Ministries, submit monthly reports, and more.
We assign a CRM staff member to mentor each Ambassador in the Campusreaching process and to consult with them once a week. We also host other training and relational opportunities like our Ambassador training retreats and our twice-a-month nationwide conference calls.
Some Ambassadors join our staff when they graduate, while others move on to other industries. The latter enter into leadership roles of churches and the marketplace with renewed and enlarged visions for transformed lives and true Church unity.

2:1 Expeditions
Joshua's first act as leader of the Israelites was to send spies to look over the land. Our 2:1 Expeditions are the eyes of Campus Renewal Ministries. Their goal is to identify the key ministry leaders on campuses across the nation who have a heart for unity and transformation on their campuses. They then connect these leaders with our national network of ambassadors and staff.
We send out our expeditions every Fall and Spring semester for three month road trips to particular regions of the nation. The teams are usually made up of recent college grads and/or college students. For more information, visit the 2:1 Expeditions website at www.21expeditions.org.

The National Collegiate Prayer Accord
The American Heritage Dictionary defines an accord as, "Spontaneous or voluntary desire to take a certain action." Well known pastor, Jonathan Edwards, (circa late 1700s) wrote that prayer will be more extraordinary and abundant if it is visible, occuring at an agreed upon time and manner. He understood when individuals knowingly pray for a common purpose, although seperated by distance, they are encouraged and spurred along in their journey.
The National Collegiate Prayer Accord is a uniting of students across the nation who unite in prayer once a month. With this Accord we will extend across the nation this mpst essential principle of Campusreaching: United prayer can change not only the spiritual climate of an indivisual campus, but the climate of an entire nation.
Beginning this year we are recruiting an army of students on campuses nationwide who are committing to:
- Fast on the first Monday of every month
- Join with one or more other students once a week to pray for revival and transformation on their campus
- Personally pray daily for revival and transformation on their campus

Catalytic Events
National Collegiate Concert of Prayer Broadcast
Once a year CRM organizes a nationwide solemn assembly to link together groups of students on campuses across the nation. This live broadcast highlights where and how God is moving in Campusreaching efforts. Leaders from several key campuses guide students nationwide via the broadcast in intense times of corporate prayer and worship.
Resurrection Week
From Palm Sunday to Maundy Thursday, on colleges across the nation, campus ministries unite for times of corporate worship and prayer, outreach events and activities. Resurrection Week provides an entry point for Christians to realize the power of working together toward vision larger than any one segment of the Body of Christ. Since its inception, tens of thousands of students have participated in this event.
Prayer Summit
Not only is there a need for local leaders to work together, it is also vital for the national leaders of collegiate ministries to develop deep partnerships. These national church and para-church leaders can then provide a covering for their local leaders to invest in local Campusreaching efforts. Campus Renewal Ministries' Prayer Summit is a two day meeting where national leaders can grow in relationship with one another through prayer. Part of the time is also spent in strategic planning to ask the question, "What can we accomplish together better than we can apart?"
